Shoogar Soft Inc. ("Shoogar Soft", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
This policy is written to comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Because we are an Alberta organization handling information largely within Alberta, Alberta PIPA generally governs our activities. Because some of our processors are located outside Canada (in the United States), PIPEDA's rules on cross-border transfers also apply to those transfers. This policy addresses both.
We collect only the information we need to deliver our service. Specifically:
When you pay, Stripe collects and processes your payment details (such as card information and billing details). We do not receive or store your full card number. We receive limited confirmation and transaction information from Stripe (for example, that a payment succeeded, the amount, and a reference identifier) for accounting and tax purposes.
During delivery you may provide credentials, app passwords, or access tokens so we can configure your instance. We treat these as highly sensitive. We use them only to perform the configuration, and we ask you to rotate or revoke any shared credentials after handoff (see Section 5).
We do not collect special categories of sensitive personal information (such as health, biometric, or government-ID data) as part of this service, and we ask you not to send them.

By submitting the intake form, contacting us, or purchasing the service, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see Section 8), subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice; withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer deliver or support the service.
Email we send you in connection with your purchase and delivery (confirmations, clarifying questions, the handoff document, and support) is transactional and relationship-based correspondence. If we ever send you commercial or promotional email, it will identify us and include a working unsubscribe mechanism, and we will honour unsubscribe requests within 10 business days, consistent with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or any unrelated purpose.
We use the following third-party service providers ("processors") strictly to operate our service. Your information flows to them only as needed:

We may also disclose personal information where required by law, court order, or lawful request by a public authority, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Because Tally.so and Stripe operate outside Canada, your personal information may be stored or processed in other countries (including the United States and the European Union). While stored or processed in another country, your information may be subject to that country's laws, including lawful access by foreign courts, law enforcement, and government authorities. By using our service you acknowledge this transfer. We use service providers that maintain commercially reasonable security and contractual protections for the data they process on our behalf.
When personal information is no longer needed for these purposes and is not subject to a retention obligation, we securely delete or anonymize it.
We apply security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including:
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We use AI tools (large language models, including the Anthropic Claude API) to deliver and operate the service. Where AI processing involves your personal information, that processing is limited to the service-delivery purposes described in this policy. We do not authorize our AI providers to use your personal information to train their general models beyond what is necessary to provide the service, consistent with those providers' terms.
